The women’s ministry of Community Bible Church is actively serving in many aspects of the life of the church.  Our main purpose is to teach women from the Word of God and encourage their personal growth in the Lord, to enable them to strengthen their families, serve within the church and offer the light of Christ in their communities.

The three key ministries that we are pursuing are as follows:

Teaching and Mentoring:  Women are taught to love and live God’s Word by studying together on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday evenings.  Spiritually mature women take active roles of discipling younger women, sharing Biblical counsel and helping them to fulfill their God-given roles.

Serving within the church:  Committees of women are established on a yearly basis to meet key needs within the church.  This includes hospitality, the “Sunshine committee” which brightens the lives of our elderly and shut-in members, a committee which provides Bibles for each new baby born in our congregation and encouragement for the new mothers, and other means of service too numerous to count.

Outreach:  Luncheons, retreats and workshops are scheduled throughout the year to encourage women to grow in the Lord, develop meaningful relationships within the body of Christ, and reach out to their friends and neighbors with the gospel message.

The women’s ministry of Community Bible Church counts it as a privilege to serve our Lord Jesus Christ and our fellowship of believers!
